HIGH WAISTED SHORTS

I wore my high waisted black shorts for the first time this weekend when I went to a party at Trouw Amsterdam. I actually wore them with a grey top that night but made some pictures of it with my white crochet top the day I bought them. I hope summer will show it's face a bit more because I want to wear these shorts a lot! 

By the way, I booked a ticket to Copenhagen yesterday, I will be there 11-16 august. Tips for shopping/eating/the city's secret places/anything I really need to see or do, are very welcome! 

DAYDREAMING

Before I went for dinner with my mum on tuesday I had to work and had lunch with my girlfriends. As you can see I was wearing almost the same, I just changed my leopard skirt for my black high waisted jeans after work. The two outfits look very different though I think! The weather is finally starting to get a little better, I hope it stays like this in the weekend. Have a nice weekend everyone :)

AMERICAN DREAM

I'M NOT WEIRD

Yesterday was my day off which meant; sleeping in, going out for breakfast, do a tiny bit of shopping (bought this cape), going out for dinner and going for drinks with my girlfriends. A day like this just screaming COMFORT! I wore a random white T, new supertrash jeans and bracelet (which are two of the three items I 'bought' with the cheque I won) and basic camel flats. It was a bit colder than I hoped so I bought this comfortable cape to throw on top of this.

Right now I'm getting ready for a festival called Henk op de Helling. I'm praying, hoping and begging that the sun will shine!  I'm going to wear my american flag shorts so please sun, help me out here.

SOMETHING SIMPLE

This is what I wore yesterday on a busy day at work. The leopard blouse is new. I bought it on the airport in Londen yesterday in the mango sale. It's 100% silk so you can imagine how nice this blouse feels te wear! With it I'm wearing my high-waisted black jeans, simple flats and a grey hat. I'm not too sure about the hat though.. What do you think? Keep it or lose it?

ONE DAY TRIP TO LONDON

Yesterday I went on a one day trip to Londen for work (I felt like a real businesswoman haha). The weather was quite nice so I wore one of my new shorts, the lace one. I paired it with a simple striped shirt and my camel colored flats. Unfortunately I had no time to see any of Londen itself (or the Topshop store I saw that had 'now even more sale' on the windows..) but I hope I'll fly back soon for and then stay a little longer than one day!

FASHIONWEEK / OUTFIT 2

Last Sunday I went to the fashionweek with my best friend Jara, my other best friend Tess and her friend Charlotte. We saw two shows; 2lovetonycohen and club brillant. I was not impressed by the first one but i was very impressed by the second one. Afterwards we had some drinks together. Tons of pictures were taken by different people but of course I can't find them on the internet anywhere. Luckily Jara took some quick outfit pictures of each other. I was wearing my favorite heels, black high waisted jeans (new&love them!) a basic grey shirt and a coral clutch.

FASHIONWEEK / OUTFIT 1

This is what I wore last night to see the Hunkemoller show at AIFW. After the show I went to a friend's place for some drinks and after that we all went to a bar for some more drinks. Right now I'm still in bed, having the laziest saturday ever.

Tonight I'm going to see the Quoc Thang (how do you pronounce that??) and Edith & Ella show at AIFW. Will I see any of you there?

Roskilde Festival in 40 pictures

This is another long skirt I bought in Denmark, it's from Gina Tricot. I wore it with a hot pink cropped shirt and my Bershka heels. I really need to start wearing my other heels again, I wear these constantly since I bought them!

Fashionweek is starting tonight, will I see any of you there the upcoming days :)?

SUPERTRASH

Last week I won a contest hosted by Zanox and the price I won was €300 shopping money to spend at Supertrash! Yesterday I went to the Supertrash store in Amsterdam to meet Yoteng from Zanox and Lisette from Supertrash to receive the price. In the Supertrash store they dressed the mannequin in the clothes I used in my collage and after that they handed me the 'cheque' and we celebrated with a glass of champagne. I don't know what I am going to buy with it yet, but I will show you when I made my choice. Thanks again Zanox and Supertrash!

WEEKEND

Yesterday I went to a party at a boot in Amsterdam. The weather was lovely, this is what I wore. Today will be a goooood day; i'm going to the noordermarkt in a minute with my boyfriend to eat Amsterdam's best apple-pie for breakfast, then maybe do some vintage shopping at the noordermarkt itself. At 15.00 I'll be at the Supertrash store to pick up the price I won :) Hope you have a lovely monday as well!

THE SKIRT

At Roskilde Festival, I finally found the perfect sheer maxi skirt; perfect lenght, perfect color. I still have to figure out different ways to wear this because I'm not used to wearing long skirts. For my first time wearing it, I paired it with my new heels, a white crochet top and some blue and silver jewelry. Do you like this look?

Trend Spotting at Roskilde - H&M Life Video

As I already told you, the H&M filmcrew made a short movie about us as trend scouts for H&M at Roskilde. This is the result! Although it's kind of weird hearing our voices (and our uh-uhm perfect English pronunciation) and seeing ourselves on video, we love it! You can still vote for our pictures here, we would really appreciate it if you do :)
