Mobile blogging / new in

I've been longing for it since I saw it, but it was too expensive. It was on sale. There was just one. It was my size. And I'm sad. Now it's mine.

Last weekend

Ok, after this post I will stop talking about my birthday. Here are som pictures of the night itself. As I told you we made a deliiiiicious meal for a girlfriends (cheescake trifle as a desert.. aaaah!) and after that we had drinks at a cafe and went dancing in the Chicago Social Club, where Anne decorated me with garlands. It was FUN!

This is another dress I bought at the Motel Rocks sample sale. Actually, it's a playsuit! So convenient. It's black but when you look close you see tiny little stars and moons. I wore it on the christmas party of my work and also on my birthday last weekend so it's a garment with memories already :)

New in / Glitter Boots

These boots from Pull & Bear were on my wishlist and my girlfriends gave them to me as a birthday gift, so sweet!! I immediately put them on and they fit perfectly and walk like heaven. Jaar, Joyce, Sheil, Eef en Ellis thanks a million babes :)

As from last week on I'm also a blogger for ByDanie.com, the website of stylist Danie Bless. Every week I will show you how you can wear a certain trend and where you can buy those items. I will posts the looks on my own blog as well. I think most of you have a white (sheer) blouse in your closet. It's a good basic item with which you can create so many looks. Here are three ways I like to wear mine !

Hungover thursday

This was thursday's outfit. After a christmas party with my collegues from LivingSocial on wednesdaynights I was soooo hungover on thursday. But now that I see the pictures we took that afternoon, I don't look as bad as I felt haha. As you can see I now also have the 'dress version' of this top. I also have the top (worn here) and the shorts (worn here) , remember?

Getting ready

My room is a big mess of balloons, sticky spilled drinks and presents, just how a room is suppose to look after a good birthdayparty :) I just got ready for tonight, now I'm off to Jara for the second party!

The biggest surprise..

Wauw.. It's my birthday! I'm turning 22 today. I went for dinner last night with my boyfriend and in the meantime my sweet sweet sweet sweet roomie Sophie decorated my whole room with balloons and tea lights. When we came home my boyfriend played the guitar and sang a song for me, selfwritten. You can probably imagine how romatic that was.. :) Just when I thought that was the biggest surprise, about 15 friends walked in my room and they were all with me when the clock turned 00:00. What a special birthday, already. I feel so blessed with my friends! What a surprise.. What makes it even more special is that my best friend Jara is turning 22 today as well so we're going to cook a (hopefully) delicious meal for our sweet girlfriends tonight. After that I'm going to the Chicago Social Club to dance the night away :)

Colombia Fashion Week

Amsterdam International Fashionweek is coming up again (25-29 january) and that made me think of a video I saw. Vice made a 'Fashion Week Internationale' serie, in which Vice reporter Charlet takes a look at the most special Fashionweeks around the world. Take a look at this video about Colombia Fashion Week, it's complete different then what we are used to in Amsterdam right?

How to wear: the maxi skirt in the winter

This is the second winterlook with the maxi skirt, the more casual one. I wore it with a basic grey tanktop, a short leather jacket, some worn off boots and my aztec printed bag. I really like the skirt combined with boots like this! What do you think of this second look? And which look of the two is your favorite?

AMATØR

After shooting the Zekur Commercial I had a little chat with the stylist of the commercial, Marloes. She told me about her work and told me that at the moment, she was working on a collection of jackets together with a friend. Their collection is called 'AMATØR'. They describe it as casual, refined items that are designed to dress the elegant woman, adventurous mum or confident student. They use quality materials, surprising details, modern color tones and confident cuts so you easily can blend it into your own wardrobe. I can't wait to see the jackets in real life because they look gorgeous in this behind the scenes movie. So far, the black and beige one on the pictures below are my favorite. What do you think of the collection?

How they wear it: the cap

You won't see me wearing this on trend item, but the cap is popping up everywhere in the blogosphere. These bloggers sure know how to spice up their outfit with a cap. At first I hated them, now I'm slowly starting to love them.. What your opinion?

Storm

It was pretty much storming when I was trying to take these outfit shots, hence the messy hair and pictures. I finally found the top I had been looking for so long, Isn't it the prettiest? Enjoy your weekend! X.
