Mint green jumper

Last night I went to a boat party hosted by Wubbo Ockels (the first Dutch man ever who went into space). We sailed while enjoying a big buffet and free drinks all night long, so I guess you know how I'm feeling right now.. Anyway, the jumper is new. As soon as I saw it I knew this hysterical green number had to come home with me - lucky me it was a real bargain!

I passed my exam yesterday which means I now have my bachelor in laws - I still can't stop smiling! Next week I will start with my master and I'm beyond excited. My party dress from Motel Rocks arrived so I will definitely use it this weekend to celebrate my graduation :)

Last days of summer

Summer is coming to an end. I have my last exam tomorrow morning and I'll spend of rest of the week preparing my new and probably last year of university. I'm starting my master and I couldn't be more excited! This is what I wore to the collection presentation of River Island last week, what do you think of the outfit?

I've been wanting to buy this dress for a few weeks now but because I had forbidden myself to shop I didn't. I love the psychedelic print and it would be a perfect party dress, just like my sequin dress. I've never worn this dress yet untill now because it's so insanely girly and it makes me look like I'm sixteen. I love the high neck and the see-through part though, I guess I could have loved the dress if it was another color. What do you think?

It's getting late but I don't mind

Last friday I spontaneously decided I should go to Lowlands after all - the biggest festival in Holland which started that same day. The weather forecast for the weekend was incredible (30+ degrees everyday) and with headliners such as The Black Keys, Nicolas Jaar, Innervisions, The Eagles of Death Metal, Four Tet (!), The Whitest Boy Alive, John Talabot, Tom Trago, Todd Terje, Benga, Miike Snow, Magnetic Man, Modeselector, Foo Fighters, the XX and Jamie XX I just couldn't miss this festival. When I got myself a ticket I packed my bags in 5 minutes, jumped in the car and an amazing weekend followed. The pictures I made still have to be developed so I will show those later on. Right now it's time for superstudymode, I've got one more exam to go next week. Here's an outfit from last week, hope you like it!

Sunday morning

DIY / Denim jacket

Not having a job for a little while has two benefits: firstly I now have loads of spare time which is nice for a change. Secondly it forces me to be more creative with the clothes I have because I don't have money to go shopping right now. I cleaned out my closet and made a few piles: one with stuff I still like, one with stuff I don't like/fit anymore and one with stuff I could like again after adjusting it a little bit. This denim jacket was in the third pile. I have this other denim jacket that I wear a lot so having this one as well seemed superfluous.. Unless I could make this one a less average denim jacket. I bought some ribbons etc. at a craft shop. I sewed some leopard fabric on the pockets of the jacket and added some fringes on the bottom of the jacket. I might add some more to it.. How do you like it so far?

Yes, super shiny party dress outfit pictures! I did not wear it yet, I just couldn't stop myself from creating an imaginary outfit with it and take some pictures. For a night of clubbing I would wear it with a pair of boots for sure but for a more classy night out this would definitely be my outfit. Do you like it?

 

Favorite dress

This dress has been one of my favorite dresses of the last couple of months. It's appropriate for any occasion; from school to work to going out and it is very easy to combine. The weather in Amsterdam is crazy good at the moment, too bad I have to study all day long! I hope you guys are enjoying the sun some place nice :)

Oh hello perfect party dress! I received this rose gold sequin dress from Glamorous this weekend, isn't it gorgeous? Right now it's hanging on my wall (which my friend Tess always calls my 'museum wall'  because I showcase lots of my favorite stuff there) but I can't wait to wear it to a party. Last week I wore the palazzo pants in a casual way, this week I combined them with a pair of heels and a white blouse which gives the pants a more classy vibe if you ask me. Which look do you prefer?

When I went to the Noordermarkt for very the first time four years ago I bought this vintage skirt for 1 euro but I rarely wear it because it makes my hips look waaaaay bigger than they are. I really like the print though and they're very festival proof, so I brought these along for the weekend.

Welcome to the future festival

This is what I wore to welcome to the future festival last weekend! It was pretty sunny most of the day so crochet shorts, a breezy white blouse and my boots seemed like the perfect festival outfit to me. Do you like it?
